Storyline: In 1893, Gandhi is thrown off a South African train for being an Indian and traveling in a first class compartment. Gandhi realizes that the laws are biased against Indians and decides to start a non-violent protest campaign for the rights of all Indians in South Africa. After numerous arrests and the unwanted attention of the world, the government finally relents by recognizing rights for Indians, though not for the native blacks of South Africa. After this victory, Gandhi is invited back to India, where he is now considered something of a national hero. He is urged to take up the fight for India’s independence from the British Empire. Gandhi agrees, and mounts a non-violent non-cooperation campaign of unprecedented scale, coordinating millions of Indians nationwide. Story:
Emily Taylor, despite being reunited with her husband from prison, becomes severely depressed with emotional episodes and suicide attempts. Her psychiatrist, Jonathan Banks, after conferring with her previous doctor, eventually prescribes an experimental new medication called Ablixa. The plot thickens when the side effects of the drug lead to Emily killing her husband in a “sleepwalking” state. With Emily plea-bargained into mental hospital confinement and Dr. Banks’ practice crumbling around him, the case seems closed. However, Dr. Banks cannot accept full responsibility and investigates to clear his name. What follows is a dark quest that threatens to tear what’s left of his life apart even as he discovers the diabolical truth of this tragedy.

toryline:
Sheriff Owens is a man who has resigned himself to a life of fighting
what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction
after leaving his LAPD post following a bungled operation that left him
wracked with failure and defeat after his partner was crippled. After a
spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy, the most notorious,
wanted drug kingpin in the hemisphere is hurtling toward the border at
200 mph in a specially outfitted car with a hostage and a fierce army of
gang members. He is headed, it turns out, straight for Summerton
Junction, where the whole of U.S. law enforcement will have their last
opportunity to make a stand and intercept him before he slips across the
border forever. At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted
out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens
